Our Footprint in South Africa
General Haulage Division
The General Haulage division of Unitrans Africa was introduced in October 2020. From small beginnings, we are steadily increasing both our fleet and our service offering. As an Over Border carrier, we operate in a traditionally challenging environment, but with the backing and expertise of the management team coupled with the vast experience of the Group is operating in challenging areas, we have grown our client base as well as our capacity.
We now operate close to 80 General haul truck tractors with close to a hundred trailing units, ranging from Super-links, Super-link tautliners, Refrigerated units through to flat decks and step-deck trailers. As General Haulage We are situated across three countries being South Africa, Mozambique, and Botswana, and as such are able to offer an unparalleled service into the greater SADC region. With the Group infrastructure and our capable and hands-on management teams, drivers, and backroom staff, we are able to undertake almost any type of load to all major destinations within the SADC region.
Our aim is to consistently grow the fleet over the next 3 to 5 years and to become a significant mover of cargo into and out of the region, whilst ensuring long-term sustainability to our business and to our clients and staff.
